The Championship features both an Open Category, where seasoned competitors can use advanced peashooters, and a Traditional Category, using a basic peashooter, introduced to create a more level playing field for newcomers and casual participants.
Allica Bank is returning as a Gold Sponsor of the event as part of its Here Is Where The Heart Is campaign, which celebrates and supports unique volunteer-run community events all over the country. The campaign aims to support the traditions that make Britain’s local communities special. Funds raised through the Championship are reinvested into village facilities and local community groups.
