PATRÓN launches new Agave Education Programme

PATRÓN has launched AGAVE MASTERS™, a free global programme for bar staff.

The programme combines education, competition and community, with members able to access the WSET AGAVE MASTERS™ accreditation, described as the world’s only WSET qualification dedicated entirely to agave spirits. The qualification is available at no cost to programme members.

The programme offers access to masterclasses, mixology training and information on developments in the agave category. It also includes a global team competition, allowing bar teams to showcase drinks and guest experience.

For winning teams, AGAVE MASTERS™ culminates in a trip to Mexico, including the Global Summit in Guadalajara and a four-day experience at Hacienda PATRÓN. Winners will explore tequila production, from harvesting 100% Blue Weber Agave through traditional tahona and roller mill processing, fermentation and distillation.
